Goals and Objectives of Rotation:
- Review normal and abnormal gastrointestinal and hepatic function in children
- Review and examine outpatients with gastrointestinal diseases. Develop an algorithm for clinical evaluation and management of these patients.
- Acquire familiarity of basic gastrointestinal pathology
Weekly clinics:
We have clinic sessions almost every day, either at MGH or at one of our satellite offices at NSMC or NWH. Before the rotation begins we will customize a clinic schedule for the resident which concurs with his/her own clinic and on-call schedule.
