As part of the growing need in our community, our Spaulding speech and language pathologists at the Lurie Center perform evaluations for adults with developmental disabilities who are both non-verbal or have limited verbal skills. Our Augmentative Alternative Communication program offers these adult patients options for computer-based communication, finding better ways to expand their communication.
