Spaulding Outpatient Center for Children in Lexington (at the Lurie Center) provides physical therapy and assessment for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental disorders.

As part of a larger therapeutic team of the Lurie Center, the Spaulding physical therapists at the Lurie Center provide assessment and treatment for pediatric rehabilitation of autism spectrum disorders, coordination disorders, developmental delays and disabilities, neuromuscular disorders, seizure disorders, and genetic disorders, among others. Our staff specialize in providing assessment and recommendations for bracing and a wide variety of adaptive equipment, including walkers, standers, and wheelchairs. Together, we work with each patient and their family toward increased independence, greater self-confidence and improved quality of life.
