The Pediatric Neuro-Imaging Service offers magnetic resonance (MR) and computed tomography (CT) evaluation of the nervous system for newborns, infants and children. The service routinely performs diffusion-weighted imaging, perfusion-weighted imaging, proton MR spectroscopy, functional MR imaging and high-resolution phased-array imaging.

Close collaborations have been developed with all of the pediatric specialties to allow rapid scheduling of MR studies for patients. Sedation and general anesthesia with one-to-one nursing care are available upon request.
