The Cleft Lip and Palate Program at MassGeneral Hospital for Children provides a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to meet all the needs of infants and children with a cleft lip or cleft palate. Cleft lips and cleft palates are complex medical conditions requiring treatment by a broad range of medical specialists. Early intervention promotes successful outcomes, as the first year of a child’s life is crucial to facial growth and speech development.

All of our staff members are pediatric specialists with clinical expertise in cleft lip and palate. Our team develops a coordinated custom plan for treatment and follow-up, which is shared with the family and referring pediatrician.
