The Pediatric Dermatology Unit at MassGeneral Hospital for Children provides care for children and adolescents with the full range of acquired and congenital disorders of the skin, including disorders of the hair, nails, and mucous membranes.
Our board-certified dermatologists work with other specialists throughout MassGeneral Hospital for Children, including allergists, geneticists, immunologists, plastic surgeons and rheumatologists. We are dedicated to helping children and parents better understand skin ailments and how to treat and cope with them.

Our Research
The Pediatric Dermatology Unit is actively involved in extensive clinical research in all of the disorders mentioned above, with special emphasis in photomedicine and the use of lasers.
At MassGeneral Hospital for Children, we know that the time of your child’s diagnosis and treatment is a very stressful one and we strive to provide an open, welcoming environment.
