Billing
We request that you please make any required payments or co-payments at the time of your visit. We accept cash or personal checks. Should you have questions regarding your bill, please call our practice manager at 617-726-8714.
Insurance
We accept most major insurance carriers and managed health care plans. Please confirm that we accept your health care plan before your first visit or when you change carriers. If your plan requires you to choose a primary care physician for your child, please be sure to name your Pediatric Group Practice pediatrician.
Referrals
Your child's pediatrician is responsible for arranging all of your child's medical care, including referrals to specialists. If you think your child needs a referral to a specialist, you must see your primary care physician to get the referral approved.
Prescriptions
Most prescriptions can be filled by simply calling us during regular office hours. Please have on hand the name of your child's medication, the dosage, and the telephone number of the pharmacy you would like to use. After office hours, urgent refills will be handled by the pediatrician on call.
Lab Results
Your child's routine lab results will be discussed with you at the time of your next visit. Should the results require further attention, your pediatrician will call you as soon as possible.
