At MGH Revere Health Care Center, we care for children from birth through young adulthood. Our focus is on family care, and our Med-Peds doctors can take care of your entire family. We have excellent specialists in nutrition, speech and language, sports medicine, orthopedics, dermatology, ENT, mental health, allergy, and pulmonary rehab. We also have a Teen Health Center geared towards the health education needs of adolescents from eleven to nineteen years of age. Our nurse practitioner has special interests in adolescent health.

Should you or your child need them, you'll also have access to all the world-class services and facilities MassGeneral Hospital for Children has to offer. We have specialists in allergy, child development, dermatology, development / behavior, pediatrics, child mental health, orthopedics, and speech and language. We offer X-ray, lab, and pharmacy services. We also have translators who speak Spanish, Khmer and other languages upon request.
Center Hours
The Center's hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Billing
We request that you please make any required payments or co-payments at the time of your visit. We accept cash, personal checks, and credit cards. Should you have questions regarding your bill, please call our on-site billing specialist at 617-485-6091.
Insurance
We accept Medicare, MassHealth (Medicaid), and most major health insurance plans including Neighborhood Health Plan, Network Health, HMO Blue, and Blue Cross / Blue Shield. If your plan requires you to choose a primary care physician, please be sure to fill in the name of your child's MGH Revere pediatrician. If you are uninsured and cannot pay for your child's medical care, please ask us about free care and partial free care. For more information, please call 617-485-0090.
Referrals
Your primary care physician will assist you in coordinating all of your child's medical care, including referrals to specialists. If you think your child needs to see a specialist, please call us at 781-485-6024 for assistance.
Prescriptions
You can renew prescriptions by calling 781-485-6024 and leaving your child's name, blue card number, and your telephone number; as well the name of your child's medication, and the telephone number of your pharmacy. You can pick up your medicine in twenty-four hours, unless it is an emergency or weekend.
Lab Results
Your child's pediatrician or nurse practitioner will mail most laboratory results directly to you. For routine tests expect to receive the results within two to four weeks. If you have not received your results within four weeks, please call your doctor or nurse. If your child's test results need immediate follow-up care, you will be notified by telephone as soon as the results are available.
