Compassionate, Family-Centered Care
The members of the Division of Pediatric Imaging at MassGeneral Hospital for Children work as a team to provide family-centered care to patients.
From the moment patients enter either of our sites they will be greeted by friendly, professional staff who will endeavor to make the experience of both patient and family as pleasant as possible. Team members understand that the entire process of having a sick child can be stressful, and it is our goal to provide services in a caring and supportive environment. Each patient is treated as an individual and the concerns of family members are appropriately addressed
State-of-the-Art Diagnostic Services at Two Convenient Locations
Full-service imaging services are provided in two locations: MassGeneral Hospital for Children in Boston and Mass General West Imaging in Waltham.
All radiologic studies are performed on state-of-the-art equipment and are interpreted by fellowship-trained pediatric radiologists. All examinations performed at both sites are fully digital and can be viewed by physicians in other locations for consultative purposes.
All studies are optimized to minimize radiation exposure to pediatric patients.Scheduling an Exam
Making appointments is easy. In many cases, same day requests can be accommodated for examinations not requiring sedation. If your child is a patient in the hospital, your physician will arrange the examination for you.
