Hepatitis C (HCV) Program and Support Services

The MGH Revere HealthCare Center provides services for clients who are positive for the Hepatitis C virus (HCV). In collaboration with the clinical staff of the Health Center, the case manager provides case identification, patient and provider education, and intensive follow-up for clients requiring additional support to maintain the prescribed treatment regimen. The case manager also provides: one-on-one patient education sessions; group patient Hepatitis C information sessions and/or support group for patients with Hepatitis C; participates in health fairs in the community and Hepatitis C Awareness Month; and distributes resources to health center clinicians.
