The Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit (Neuro ICU) at the Massachusetts General Hospital Critical Care Center and the Maxwell & Eleanor Blum Patient and Family Learning Center celebrate Brain Injury Awareness Month with a symposium on traumatic brain injury (TBI). The symposium will feature TBI survivor Tom Kearney as he shares his experience along with a scientific panel discussion.

Schedule:

  • All-day poster session (O’Keeffe Auditorium hallway)
  • TBI awareness table (White Building, 1st floor hallway)
  • 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm TBI survivor Tom Kearney and a scientific panel discussion – lunch provided
  • 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm TBI survivor Tom Kearney, a patient's perspective
  • 5:30 pm - 6:00 pm light reception (O’Keeffe Auditorium)
