Obstetrics and Gynecology

Our Obstetrics and Gynecology Service is an ideal choice for the woman who wishes to have the same physician provide both her gynecological and obstetrical care. Our service is staffed by physicians who are specialists in both, so a woman can have continuity of care from her adolescent years onward.

Pregnant women can receive all their prenatal care at our Center and can choose either an ob/gyn specialist or a nurse midwife. During her pregnancy, it is easy for a mother-to-be to interview and select an MGH Charlestown pediatrician with whom she'll feel comfortable caring for her child.

Birthing occurs in the warm, homelike atmosphere of Massachusetts General Hospital's Mother and Child Center, which has noted neonatal specialists and one of the region's most respected neonatal intensive care nurseries.
