Health Decision Sciences Center: Let's Decide Together!
The Health Decision Sciences Center (HDSC) within the General Medicine Division is a multidisciplinary research group that is committed to improving the quality of decisions made by patients and health care providers about medical testing and treatment.
The mission of the Health Decision Sciences Center is to promote conversations and systems of care that value the expertise of patients, families, clinicians and the best available clinical evidence in medical decisions.
Our activities are conducted in collaboration with investigators at Mass General, including the John D. Stoeckle Center for Primary Care Innovation and the Mass General Gillette Center for Women’s Cancers, as well as others nationwide. The HDSC collaborates with and receives support from the Informed Medical Decisions Foundation as well as other organizations.
