Dr. Katherine P. Klein
Originally from Rhode Island, Dr. Katherine P. Klein graduated from the combined BS/DMD program at Villanova University and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. As a recipient of an Air Force Health Professions Scholarship, she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Travis Air Force Base in California where she continued to serve as a general dentist upon completion. In addition to practicing clinical dentistry, Dr. Klein served as the Dental Public Health Officer, and in 2007 was recognized as the Junior Clinical Dentist of the Year.
Dr. Klein received her Master of Science degree in Oral Biology and a certificate in advanced graduate study in orthodontics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC). At UNC, Dr. Klein was selected as an Andrew M. Brooks Fellow and was invited to present her research at the national meeting of the American Association of Orthodontics. Dr. Klein's research has appeared in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and the Journal of Dental Education.
Dr. Klein is an instructor at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and a member of the Cleft Palate--Craniofacial Team at Mass General, Shriners Hospital for Children-Boston, and Boston Children's Hospital.
Clinical interests: orthodontics for children, teens, and adults; surgical orthodontics and cleft palate/craniofacial care
