Operating room rehabilitation - dental
In extreme cases, very young children or patients with severe mental or physical disability may require dental treatment in an operating room setting.
There are times when the health and interests of the patient are best served by administering dental services in an operating room setting. This occurs most commonly with very young children or patients who suffer from severe mental or physical disability. Because of our affiliation with and close proximity to Mass General, we are uniquely equipped to provide treatment in an operating room and with appropriate anesthesia support. Our staff are specially trained and experienced in providing this type of care.
