Observerships in Dermatology at Massachusetts General Hospital
Observerships for up to 3 months can be arranged through the Massachusetts General Hospital Visitor Education Program
The Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Dermatology has been home to innovations that have changed the field of dermatology, including LASER and PUVA, and continues to be the center of pioneering clinical and basic science research in many aspects of dermatology.
Observerships are for physicians or physicians in training for up to 3 months can be arranged through the Mass General Visitors Education Program.
The Office for Visitor Education Programs (VEP) coordinates dermatology observerships based on the needs and interests of the prospective observer and the availability of the Department of Dermatology's professional staff at Mass General. The observership program is designed for currently practicing clinicians and is not suitable for students or individuals seeking resident opportunities at the hospital.
Dermatology Observerships are informal educational initiatives for health care professionals who wish to observe specific areas of clinical care at Mass General. To apply for an application visit the Mass General Visitors Education Program.
Unfortunately, given privacy regulations, we are unable to offer clinical observerships to undergraduate or high school students or other non-medical personnel.
