The DSME program at the Internal Medicine Associates consists of an individual visit with a diabetes educator. From here, participants may proceed on to a series of group education sessions facilitated by a diabetes educator. Patients are encouraged to bring a family member or friend for support.
Diabetes Self Management Education classes are offered for Type 2 adult patients. The following is the remaining 2007 schedule of classes:
