About Us
Patients enrolled in the DSME program at the Diabetes Center receive an individual visit with a diabetes educator. Patients may also elect to participate in a series of group education sessions facilitated by a diabetes educator. Patients are encouraged to bring a family member or friend for support.

Our Programs
Diabetes Self Management Education classes are offered for adult patients diagnosed with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes and meet on site at the Diabetes Center near the main campus at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Diabetes Support Groups are offered monthly for adult patients diagnosed with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes and meet on site at the Diabetes Center near the main campus at Massachusetts General Hospital. Patients can drop in and are encouraged to bring a family member or friend for support.

The Diabetes Self Management Education program at the Diabetes Associates has been Recognized by the American Diabetes Association for Quality Self-Management Education.
