Our Diabetes Educators
About Us The DSME program at the Internal Medicine Associates consists of an individual visit with a diabetes educator and patients may decide to participate in a series of group education sessions facilitated by a diabetes educator. Patients are encouraged to bring a family member or friend for support.

Diabetes Self Management Education classes are offered for patients diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes.
Diabetes Support Groups are offered for patients diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. Patients are welcome to drop in and are encouraged to bring a friend or family member.
The Diabetes Self Management Education program at the Internal Medicine Associates has been Recognized by the American Diabetes Association for Quality Self-Management Education.
