MGH Research Scholar Awards

We are proud to announce that three of the five 2011 MGH Research Scholar awardees are faculty members of the MGH Pathology Service and Center for Cancer Research. These MGH researchers were selected from 115 outstanding applications submitted by investigators across the entire MGH research community. Congratulations to:

• J.  Keith Joung, MD, PhD, Department of Pathology & Center for Cancer Research, for generation of designed zinc fingers capable of cleaving specific DNA sequences; 
• Andrea McClatchey, PhD, Center for Cancer Research & Department of Pathology, for fundamental insight into the junction of neurofibromatosis 2 protein; 
• Lee Zou, PhD,  Center for Cancer Research & Department of Pathology, for insightful research into pathways that mediate the cellular response to DNA damage.
