| In order to serve our patients,
we must reserve the limited parking available for patients and patients'
visitors.
Individuals who are not patients or patient's visitors and who park in the Yawkey, Fruit Street or Parkman Street garages will not receive reduced parking fees. There is a valet service at the Wang and Yawkey building entrances that is also available to patients and patients' visitors.
We ask anyone coming to MGH for reasons other than medical care or patient
visitation to please park at area lots – such as the Fleet Center.
The Fleet Center is a four-minute walk from the Jackson Lobby entrance
and is serviced by the Partners shuttle bus system. Individuals who
are not patients or patient's visitors and who park in the Fruit Street
or Parkman Street garages will not receive
reduced parking fees. There is a valet service at the Wang building
that also is restricted to patients and patients' visitors.
Massachusetts General Hospital has installed a central pay office in
the ground floor lobby of each garage for the convenience of our patients
and patients' visitors. This means that there are no cashiers
at the exits. The cashiers are located in the parking
office located on the ground floor of each garage. You need to keep
you parking ticket with you and stop by the parking office on the ground
floor and have them process your ticket. All tickets must be processed
or the exit gate will not open for you.
The MGH Campus Loop Shuttle is available to transport patients and families
from the main parking garages to multiple campus sites.
MEEI patients – please note –
MEEI and MGH are two separate institutions. Unfortunately we cannot
accommodate MEEI patients in our front garages. MEEI patients who
park in those garages will pay the full public parking fee. MEEI
patients can use the valet service at the front door of MEEI. There
are separate parking lots for MEEI patients located along Storrow
drive. They can be accessed from Charles Circle.
