JiaDe (Jeff) Yu, MD is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship trained pediatric dermatologist specializing in allergic contact dermatitis and occupational dermatitis in adults and children. Other clinical interests include eczema, complex inherited genetic skin conditions (genodermatoses), and the full spectrum of pediatric dermatology. He is available at the main dermatology clinic at 50 Staniford St.
Dr. Yu received his medical degree from the University of Virginia where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He completed a pediatrics internship at the Massachusetts General Hospital for Children, his dermatology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin where he also served as Chief Resident, and his pediatric dermatology fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia/University of Pennsylvania.
He is actively involved in the American Contact Dermatitis Society in which he serves on the Pediatric Contact Dermatitis Working Group and the Interactive Media Committee. He is also an active member of the Society of Pediatric Dermatology, Pediatric Dermatology Research Alliance, and the American Academy of Dermatology. He has published multiple peer-reviewed journal articles in Pediatric Dermatology, Dermatitis, Pediatrics, American Journal of Dermatopathology, Journal of Cutaneous Pathology, Journal of Pediatrics, and Journal of Child Neurology
