About Priyadarshini Pathak, MBBS

Dr. Pathak is an Assistant in Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, specializing in treatment of gastrointestinal cancers, and an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency from Mount Sinai Morningside - West Hospital in New York, followed by a combined Hematology - Oncology Fellowship at Indiana University. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and belongs to several oncology research societies, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).

As a member of the multidisciplinary gastrointestinal oncology group at MGH, Dr. Pathak collaborates with various specialties to individualize and optimize treatment for all stages of gastrointestinal cancers. Her research focus includes development of novel and effective therapeutic strategies for GI cancers, including pancreatic, biliary and colorectal cancers, utilizing molecular and genomic characterization of tumors to target specific oncogenic pathways. She designs and conducts clinical trials with new targeted agents and immune therapies.
