Dr. Gervais trained at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Diagnostic Radiology and Abdominal Imaging and Intervention. She has worked as an Interventional Radiologist at Children's Hospital Boston. Her clinical interests are percutaneous tumor ablation, adult and pediatric nonvascular Interventional Radiology, and Abdominal Imaging. Her research interests are in percutaneous tumor ablation and nonvascular Interventional Radiology. She is best known for her research in the field of renal tumor ablation and has published and lectured extensively on that topic.

MGH Hotline 5.08.09 Debra Gervais, MD, associate director of the Division of Abdominal Imaging and Intervention, has been named director of the Division of Pediatric Radiology for the MGH Department of Radiology. In her new role, Gervais will assume an administrative role working with pediatric radiologists and the leadership of MassGeneral Hospital for Children.
The goal of this course is to provide a comprehensive and practical review of current and emerging applications of cross-sectional imaging modalities in the diagnosis and treatment of clinical gastrointestinal, genitourinary and gynecological conditions. It will use a hybrid delivery model incorporating short, to-the-point didactic lectures followed by case-based educational material.
