BiographySince 2002, my main focus has been in the area of resident education as Program Director for the Anesthesia Residency Program. This involves education administration, curriculum planning and development of the didactic programs for the Anesthesia Residents. I have been actively involved with the introduction of the New Innovations system for resident activities which includes an improved online evaluation of the residents by the faculty, resident evaluation of rotations, and resident deployment. In 2007, we began a seminar series on Expert Performance. In early 2008 I assumed the role of Vice Chair for Education which encompasses both faculty and resident education. My clinical activities have been in the area of Thoracic Anesthesia including active involvement with the Lung Transplant Team.
