BiographyJoi B. Carter, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist and is a Assistant in Dermatology at Massachusetts General Hospital. In addition, she is an Instructor in Dermatology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Carter obtained her medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School and completed her dermatology residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. She completed a fellowship in Cutaneous Oncology at Dana Farber / Brigham & Women's Cancer Center.
She belongs to several professional associations including the American Academy of Dermatology, Women's Dermatology Society, United States Cutaneous Lymphoma Consortium, and International Society for Cutaneous Lymphomas. She is co-author of peer-reviewed journal articles and her clinical interests include cutaneous lymphomas, skin cancer, and cutaneous care of the oncology patient.
