Bonnie An Henderson is an widely-recognized expert in cataract andrefractive surgery, specializing in complicated anterior segment surgery. Dr.Henderso?s principal research involves cataract surgery outcomes andinnovative methods of teaching, including the development of a digital-basedmethod for teaching cataract surgery, supported by a Department of DefenseTATRIC grant.

Dr. Henderson completed her ophthalmology residency at Harvard MedicalSchool, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.  She graduated from Dartmouth College and fromDartmouth Medical School with high honors. She serves on the Board of Overseersat the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, the Executive Board of theMassachusetts Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, the Executive Board of WomenIn Ophthalmology, and has served on the Physician Board of Directors at theMassachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.  Locally,Dr. Henderson is the founder and president of the Women Ophthalmologists of NewEngland (WONE).  She has been quoted in the Boston Globe, theBoston Herald, and Martha Stewar?s Living Magazine; appeared on WLVis Doctorson Call, CBss Healthwatch, and Channel 5 WCVB-TV; and featured onWODS Radio 103.3.
