About Jacqueline Danik, MD, DRPH

Jacqueline Suk Danik, MD, DrPH is a cardiologist and structural echocardiographer. Dr. Danik graduated from Harvard College and received her MD and doctorate degree in epidemiology and biostatistics from Harvard Medical School and the Harvard School of Public Health respectively. She sees patients as part of the Heart Valve Program at Massachusetts General Hospital. She is the immediate past clinical director of the MGH echo lab where she served in this role from 2018-2021.  She trained in internal medicine at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital and in cardiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She was a staff physician at Brigham and Women’s Hospital for nine years where her research focused on prevention of cardiovascular disease. She was subsequently a faculty member at Mount Sinai St Luke’s in New York City for four years where she served as the associate director of cardiovascular research, as the medical director of the heart valve clinics and was an Associate Professor of Medicine. She has been awarded grants for her research from the National Institute of Health and the American Heart Association.
