A record number of participants joined the annual Four Seasons Run of Hope on September 8th to raise awareness for pediatric cancer care and research at MassGeneral Hospital for Children. The Run of Hope is an annual 5k Run and 2k Walk hosted by the Four Seasons Hotel Boston, and through our partnership with the Four Seasons, we've raised over $1 million for the childhood cancer program at MGHfC. This year, 581 walkers, runners and volunteers gathered to raise awareness and hope for kids’ cancer.

Shayna Seymour of WCVB TV, Bill Taylor, Regional Vice President and General Manager of the Four Seasons Boston, Chief of Hematology Oncology at Mass General and Clinical Director of the Mass General Hospital Cancer Center David Ryan, MD, and Chief of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at MGHfC Howard Weinstein, MD gave remarks, and Dr. Weinstein’s former patient Lily was featured. The festivities included a pancake breakfast, raffle and a kid’s 50 yard dash prior to the run/walk.
