A team of researchers led by Daniel Haber, MD, PhD, director of the MGH Cancer Center, recently announced that they have revealed a unique molecular mechanism that might control the growth of cancer cells. Discovering how the cellular growth protein YAP binds to its target gene could lead to the development of new targeted treatments.
