Combining the strengths of a world-class faculty, a history of innovation in basic science and translational research, and multidisciplinary partnerships across Massachusetts General Hospital and throughout the Boston healthcare community, the Mass General Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology fellowship programs help enrich an already well-respected service. As one of only a small number of hospital-based services in the country to train fellows in four obstetric and gynecologic subspecialties certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) -- female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, gynecologic oncology, maternal-fetal medicine, and reproductive endocrinology and infertility – the department attracts an applicant pool of accomplished physician-scientists from around the world who are training to become the future leaders of medicine and innovation and the teachers of future generations. These programs, brimming with opportunities in clinical activity, challenging research and mentoring relationships, are the cornerstone of the our teaching program.

Our commitment to diversity

Massachusetts General Hospital provides a welcoming and supportive environment for employees of all ethnic backgrounds, cultures, ages, lifestyles and physical abilities.
