Neuro-Oncology Fellowship

The Massachusetts General Hospital offers a comprehensive training program in Neuro-Oncology that is designed to prepare physicians for an academic career in this discipline.

The program is one of the few in the nation supported by a K12 training grant from the National Cancer Institute. Three trainees are accepted each year for a 2 to 3 year period of clinical and research training.

Three trainees are accepted each year for a 2 to 3 year period of clinical and research training. The first year of the program consists of clinical rotations in both ambulatory and hospital settings. The second and third years are devoted to laboratory-based or clinical research. All fellows attend the Program in Clinical Effectiveness at the Harvard School of Public Health during the summers of their second and third years. It is possible to obtain a master of science or master of public health degree from Harvard while attending the program.
