BiographySayon Dutta, M.D., is an attending physician at Massachusetts General Hospital. He received his degree in medicine from Loyola University Chicago, and Dr. Dutta completed his residency in the Harvard Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency Program (HAEMR) at Brigham and Women's and Massachusetts General Hospitals. After serving as chief resident during his final year of residency, he began a research fellowship where his research interests focused on the use of applied information technologies, such as GIS and mobile technologies in humanitarian emergencies, and the utilization of medical informatics to improve patient care in the Emergency Department. Dr. Dutta is an instructor of surgery at Harvard Medical School.
