Biography
Michael Mannstadt, MD is Assistant in Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and Assistant Professor in Medicine, Harvard Medical School, both in Boston, MA. He is a Board Certified Endocrinologist.
He earned his MD from Jena University in Germany. He completed residency in Medicine, Fellowship in Endocrinology and Chief Residency in Medicine, all at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, Boston.
Dr. Mannstadt's clinical interest focuses on disorders of mineral metabolism and his research concentrates on elucidating the molecular basis of hypoparathyroidism and the role of FGF23 in chronic renal failure.
