The Thyroid Associates Practice is located on the 7th floor (Room 730) of the Wang Ambulatory Care Center at the Massachusetts General Hospital.

Special Instructions (if available, please bring):
- Copies of your medical records/discharge summary/physician notes
- A copy of your x-rays
- A copy of your lab reports
- Any medication you are taking
- Your current blue hospital card.
If you do not have a blue card or if it needs to be updated, please go to the registration area located in the Wang Lobby (7:30 AM to 5:30 PM) at least 20 minutes prior to your appointment.

Our services include diagnostic evaluation and
treatment of thyroid disease.
Hyperthyroidism
- Evaluation including Graves' disease, lymphocytic and postpartum thyroiditus,
amiodarone-associated thyroiditis, TSH-mediated hyperthyroidism, and hyperthyroidism
complicating pregnancy.
- Treatment including radioiodine therapy anti-thyroid drugs and surgical
referral
- Thyroid nodules and goiter
- Evaluation including thyroid scintography and fine needle aspiration cytology
- Treatment including surgical referral
Thyroid Cancer
- Evaluation including diagnostic iodine scanning after withdrawal or after
human recombinant THS (Thyrogen)
- Management including therapeutic radioiodine administration and oncologic referral
Hypothyroidism
- Evaluation and treatment, including combination therapy with T4 and T3.
Our faculty also see patients with general endocrine problems (except diabetes).
