Parents in a Pinch617.739.5437 An employee benefit that offers backup child care for emergencies. This compliments the service already in place for employees in the Warren Lobby, which is called the MGH Backup Child Care Center. Parents in a Pinch can be used during such times as: school vacations, when child is sick, when working late or on weekends, when day care provider goes on vacation, live-in nanny quits unexpectedly, or if children are too young for the MGH Backup Child Care Center. Child care is available seven days/week in your home at any hour of the day or evening. Call Parents in a Pinch directly to request child care. Be certain to identify yourself as an employee of Mass General Hospital and provide your MGH Employee ID number. There is a limit of 7 placements per year per MGH employee.
