Harvard Medical School - Invitational Grants

Each year over 50 Postdoctoral and Faculty Fellowships/Grants are available to the Harvard Medical Community by invitation only. The annual internal nomination process for these invitational awards is open to all eligible HMS faculty, including those at all HMS-affiliated institutions. Please note that candidates must be nominated by their Department/Division Heads. The application process involves submission of an internal HMS application which is reviewed in the late spring by a Faculty Standing Committee. This committee matches applicants with particular fellowships to try to optimize the number of successful applications.

Please note that the HMS Faculty Fellowship internal selection process is now on a semi-annual schedule. Awards not offered during the fall selection process may be available during the next cycle in the spring so be sure to review the website for more information.
