The software, called eProcurement, facilitates the placement of orders for all goods and services right from any PHS desktop. eProcurement provides comprehensive tracking of the requisition from order placement right through invoice payment. MGH Subcommittee on Research Animal Carehttp://is.partners.org/aniweb/ The Subcommittee on Research Animal Care (SRAC) serves as the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) for MGH. Institutions that receive federal funds or use species covered by the Animal Welfare Act are required, by the Public Health Service (PHS) and USDA, to appoint an IACUC to review all research, teaching or testing activities involving animals and to oversee and evaluate the animal care and use program. The SRAC satisfies the requirements of both agencies. Guidelines for IACUC structure and function are included in the PHS Policy on Humane Care and Use of Laboratory Animals and in the USDA Animal Welfare Act.
