Megan Grady, MSN, ANP-BC
Megan grew up in Connecticut and has been coming to the Boston area since she was a child as much of her family is from this area. She completed her undergraduate nursing degree at Villanova University, Villanova PA. She received her Masters in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2011. She has worked at Mass General for six years in Medicine, most recently in the Medical Intensive Care Unit.
She has chosen Geriatrics because she really enjoys spending time with older adults. She is very close with her grandparents and has always taken great interest in their history, experiences, and anecdotes. She feels there is so much to learn from the generations before and it is an honor to give back by promoting wellness and quality of life.
She was fortunate enough to complete some of her Masters clinical training at the Senior Health practice and from the beginning was impressed by the cohesive, tight-knit environment. The practice is unique to most others with the amount of resources and support available to both patients and providers.
Megan’s Professional interests include health and wellness promotion, enhancing quality of life and dementia research. She is ANCC certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner, participant in MGH Collaborative Governance and member of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society.
Megan enjoys spending time with her husband and family on Cape Cod, running, baking, wandering around the city, and DIY projects (She’s pretty crafty!)
“Caring for the aging population is complex and rewarding. Hearing the stories of generations past gives me great respect for my patients.”
