The MGH Heart Center's Corrigan Women's Heart Health Program is hosting several events in honor of the American Heart Association's "Go Red for Women" week Feb. 1 through 4:
• an information table, "Ask the Experts About Heart Disease," Feb. 1 from 10 am to 2 pm in the White Lobby;
• a "Heart-Healthy Cooking Demonstration" Feb. 2 from noon to 1 pm in the East Garden Room with Danita Sanborn, MD, MMSc, an MGH cardiologist, Deborah Krivitsky, MS, RD, LDN, an MGH dietician, and Al McPhee, an MGH chef;
• a presentation, "Women and Heart Disease," with Maria Vivaldi, MD, of the Corrigan Women's Heart Health Program, Feb. 4 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm in the Thier Conference Room;
• a "National Wear Red Day" photo opportunity Feb. 4 from 10 am to 2 pm in the Thier Lobby. Wear the color red and bring a group to have a photo taken in front of fun, heart-themed backdrop. Departments that participate will be entered into a raffle for the chance to win a free lunch.
