A nation responds

19/Jul/2013

EXPRESSIONS OF GRATITUDE:
In the days, weeks and months following the tragedy at the Boston Marathon, the MGH received hundreds of get-well wishes for patients and notes of appreciation for the staff members who cared for them. These messages came from towns and cities across the country – from the suburbs of Boston to the islands of Hawaii. A special display of some of these handwritten letters, cards, pictures and posters from schools, church groups and individuals is now on exhibit at the Paul S. Russell, MD Museum of Medical History and Innovation. The museum, located at 2 North Grove Street, is open to the public weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm. Admission is free.
