Chest Imaging: 2016

In this course, faculty from Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital and other institutions present sessions on imaging in lung cancer, interventional radiology in the chest, interstitial lung disease, vascular and cardiac diseases as well as mediastinal pathologies, airways diseases, pulmonary nodule evaluation, pulmonary infections and methods or radiation dose reduction.

The rapidly expanding subspecialty of Thoracic Radiology creates a challenge for physicians to stay current. The three-day chest course will include symposia dedicated to the multidisciplinary assessment and management of lung cancer, lung cancer screening, the approach to HRCT and interstitial lung diseases and acute cardiothoracic imaging. New modalities including PET-CT, MRI, dual-energy CT and dose reduction strategies will be presented.
