The Neurological Imaging Division of the Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Radiology provides a full complement of advanced neuroimaging techniques.
The mission of the Neurological Imaging Division is to protect and foster the health of the central nervous system of our patients through the judicious application of imaging technology. The division's goals are to continually enhance diagnostic accuracy and to develop novel therapies through a commitment to scientific research, and the education of students, residents fellows and practitioners.
The Neurological Imaging Division has 10 dedicated neuroradiologists— internationally recognized experts on diseases and injuries of the brain, head, neck and spine. The group is recognized for cutting-edge research into advanced neuroimaging techniques for diseases including stroke, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease and brain tumors. The group also works with the latest imaging technologies, such as intraoperative MRI and CT, to advance patient care.
