Mass General Imaging Chelmsford hosts open house

More than 60 guests -- including Mass General Imaging leadership, staff, referring physicians and members of the local community -- gathered at the new offices of Mass General Imaging Chelmsford during an evening open house June 17. The satellite location for imaging services officially opened Oct. 1 after the building was extensively remodeled. Guests at the event were greeted by staff and received a tour of the facility, which includes state-of-the-art imaging equipment for digital screening mammograms, ultrasound and X-ray services.

Following a brief presentation of each clinical area, radiologic technologists from each area answered guests' questions. Attendees then enjoyed refreshments including a "Mass General Blue Velvet Cake" and a blue-themed candy buffet. Flower sculptures were provided by local artists, and each guest received a Mass General Imaging tote bag.
