Patricia Allard of Quincy, MA, suffered from "unbearable" pain due to a herniated disc putting pressure on a nerve. As she explains in this video report from Boston's WCVB, she is now pain-free thanks to a non-surgical procedure called a percutaneous discectomy (also known as nucleoplasty) performed by Dr. Joshua Hirsch at Massachusetts General Hospital Imaging.
