BiographyA staff thoracic radiologist at MGH. Dr. Carol Wu supervises the performance and provides expert subspecialty interpretation of a large volume of chest radiograph, chest CT, and PET/CT. She also performs percutaneous CT guided needle biopsy of lung.  She is regularly sought after by referring physicians from thoracic oncology, thoracic surgery, pulmonary medicine, and other specialties regarding thoracic imaging findings that directly influence patient management. 

In addition to direct supervision of medical students and house staff on the thoracic radiology service, She also regularly participates in teaching conferences in thoracic surgery, thoracic oncology, and pulmonary medicine and radiology rounds in MICU, SICU, and CCU and gives case conferences and didactic lectures to the radiology residents.

ResearchDr. Carol Wu's specific interests include diagnosis and management of lung nodules and thoracic tumors.
