"Receiving the Clinician Teacher Development Award gave me critical funding for my project to understand and reduce the barriers to cervical cancer screening for Latino women in the Boston area. I am grateful for the generous support and mentoring that CDI has given me, which was essential for the success of these projects and my career over the past ten years." —Marcela del Carmen, MD, Medical Director, Massachusetts General Physicians Organization (MGPO), 2005 CTDA
Center for Diversity and Inclusion (CDI) Faculty Development Award Program.
The purpose of this program is to increase opportunities for faculty who are underrepresented in medicine, and who are committed to diversity, inclusion and equity, to advance to senior positions in academic medicine and leadership at MGH. The two awards categories include: The Physician/Scientist Development Award (PSDA) and the Clinician/Teacher Development Award (CTDA).
