Biography
Katharine Stansmore, MD, is a graduate of Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed her medical residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and fellowship in Cardiology at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She was on staff for three years at Rhode Island Hospital before returning to Massachusetts General Hospital in 2004. She is currently a staff member of the Cardiology Division and the Cardiac Ultrasound Laboratory.
Dr. Stansmore's teaching contributions include serving as the attending physician on the Paul Dudley White Cardiology Consult Service and the Cardiac Step-Down Unit as well as weekly teaching in the echocardiography fellowship.
Dr. Stansmore practices cardiology at the Massachusetts General Hospital Heart Center's convenient outpatient center in Waltham.
