BiographyDr. Rao was born and raised in Florida. She attended Brown University, where she studied health policy. After a brief stint as a management consultant, she attended New York University School of Medicine. She moved to Boston for her residency in internal medicine, at Brigham and Womens Hospital. She now practices primary care, with a focus in womens health at MGH Womens Health Associates. She is also the Associate Medical Director for Quality Improvement for the Massachusetts General Physicians Organization.
