On occasion, guest lecturers from other research groups at Massachusetts General Hospital, or from other institutions in the Boston area and beyond, will be invited to speak at the meeting.

Once a month, the meetings are held jointly with clinicians from the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition in order to facilitate exchange of ideas between the clinical and basic science staff.
